Gitanjali Music Academy launches a new online program for students 4th grade and up, where we guarantee earning a certification in Carnatic or Hindustani Music from an accredited University in India in just 4 years.
Students however have to take a qualifying test to be accepted into the online program and have to diligently follow schedule as outlined by the program.
The program runs all thru the year and special Certification examination preparation starts November 1, 2019 for the exam to be taken on April 4, 2020. Centers for the exam are all over USA. The examiners will be coming from Hyderabad, India and conducting exams here in USA.
Two Part Exam
Theory Paper
90 minutes where students are tested on several theory aspects of Music. Intensive coaching for this is provided in our online sessions.
Practical Examination
With an examiner from India testing the student on practical vocal abilities, exam lasts for about 15 to 20 minutes.
